Acoustic Foxx – Bio
Acoustic Foxx (Craig Williams) is an Australian solo artist whose stripped-back acoustic sound reflects a journey from rock band stages to intimate storytelling. Starting guitar at age 12, he grew up surrounded by various artists like John Farnham and The Beatles before moving into harder styles like hard rock, heavy metal, and grunge.
As guitarist in Melbourne’s Ownkind and other rock bands, he honed his craft playing raw, intense music influenced by ‘90s icons such as Nirvana, Silverchair, but always admired artist like Chris Cornell of Soundgarden for their ability to strip back and deliver powerful acoustic performances.
Drawing from this wide musical background, Acoustic Foxx chose a solo acoustic path, channeling his rock roots into honest, heartfelt songs. His music explores love, loss and the ongoing journey of life—trying to make sense of everything it brings. For him, music is a marker in life’s timeline, capturing moments and emotions that live beyond the writer themselves.
In 2025, Acoustic Foxx is set to release his first single since 2022, titled “A Little Time.” The song was written in the wake of his grandmother’s passing who was always his biggest fan, reflecting on grief, memory, and the need to pause and find clarity in life’s hardest moments. It continues his tradition of blending acoustic intimacy with the emotional weight of ‘90s rock influences.
Alongside his solo work, he plays lead guitar for pop rock artist Aimee Francis, adding dynamic energy and soulful depth to her live shows.
Whether on stage solo or with a band, Acoustic Foxx delivers music full of soul, substance, and a rich blend of influences spanning decades and genres.
