Precious Nothing formed in 2003 when best friends Craig Williams & Jarrod O’Meara decided to put a band together after years of learning guitar together. They put an add up in the local music store for a drummer and James Vernon responded, from there they hooked up a jam and they hit it off straight away.

They got to writing music straight away, as well as throwing in Nirvana and Metallica covers for fun. Writing came pretty naturally as Jarrod and Craig always had new riffs coming, James was right onto it with the right beats.

Later came in bassist and friend of James, Adam Kelly. Adam also had drumming experience so he locked in nicely on the bass with James.

Precious Nothing played all around Melbourne as well as hit the studio on a number occasions. They were in their element on-stage.
